As a graffiti writer during the mid to late 90s, I spent countless weekends painting walls and train lines with a subset of friends for more than 10+ years.

My paintings are influenced by both my background as a graffiti writer and my appreciation of design, informed by my career in advertising. I’m also heavily influenced by the NYC artists of the 50s and 60s: Rothko, Franz Kline, De Kooning, Jasper Johns, and works by Warhol, Basquiat, and Keith Haring in later decades.
