Each of these hand-pulled screen prints are similar to my paintings, with their own imperfections and embellishments of the process. These are not the type of print runs that celebrate perfection and are distinguished by only a number. While each print in the run are in composed in the same way with the same screens and techniques, they also each have unique subtleties and variation that clearly distinguishes one from the next. Acrylic paint is mixed and pulled through a rectangular screen to create a base, and each finished with a roughly done screen printed portrait on top in black.
